In UK, the government is planning to do new
educational programs for children, in order to learn in a better way and have a
wider knowledge. They’re planning to teach children a foreign language from the
age of seven, so they will have more internalized the language for the future. Also
they want to change the maths and science contents in order to make children
think more by using their minds and using less some other instruments that could
help them solving problems. In other hand children will be able to learn poems
and recite them in public.
So these
programs expect children have a wider knowledge making them think more by their
own. These programs of study are in consultation and evaluation, and if
everything goes right, the programs will be able to be introduced in schools on
September of 2014.
This is a
good initiative that could be followed by other countries, to develop children
skills and have a more developed education as well, because if countries have a
more developed education, they will have a more developed country in the
future. They will have better professionals, better results and stuff. So I
think is a good initiative and a good opportunity to prove it and try to have a
better education for children.
